Cuba, Argentina - Che Guevara

Guevara

Guevara grew up relatively wealthy in Argentina, but on a trip across the continent, he witnessed the massive wealth inequality, enforced by imperial occupation. He dedicated the rest of his life to revolution.

Multi-Revolutionary

Guevara joined the revolutions in both Guatemala and Bolivia, as well as Argentina, and most famously Cuba, where he briefly gained power before leaving to focus on revolutions elsewhere.

Execution

In 1967, while in Bolivia, Guevara was captured by Bolivian Special Forces, with direct support from the CIA. He was interrogated for 2 days to wring out any information, but he refused. Guevara was then executed, shot several times nonfatally before finally being put out of his misery.
